So whether or not you watched this years MTV VMAs you should not miss these performances…
Kanye West (feat. Pusha T) – Runaway
Taylor Swift – Innocent
-> Both artists songs were performed towards each other inreference towards last year’s VMA issue between the two artists. Although I would have rather seen them perform together, these perforamces were the best of the night and in my opinion, were the only good reasons to watch the VMAs. The MTV VMAs get worse and worse each year that goes by. Lets hope this changes, as MTV itself is getting worse and worse. From good music videos and some random good shows to, what it is now, a bunch of garbage and crappy shows and almost no music (except the hours of 3am-8am; pathetic, right?)
Aside from that, one artist that I thought SHOULD have done an at least decent performance was Usher. He was good in the past, but apparently, he is garbage now…
(I can’t find a version that was broadcast directly from the MTV channel, since Youtube has taken down most VMA performance videos.) In the TV version you can see that he is CLEARLY NOT SINGING. He just wiggles across the stage and probably said a maximum of 3-5 words throughout the performance. He did not even lip sync, just wiggled around…. Maybe he is just getting old… Anyways, his performance was terrible.
